Ideal for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates, this substrate forms the perfect base for any self-maintaining, tropical bioactive enclosure.

Our substrates come fully hydrated and ready to use. Compact the bottom layer before adding a top layer to help maintain burrows and trap essential humidity in the lower levels. As the top layer dries, it will trap in vital humidity throughout the bottom layers. For a more naturalistic setup, pair with HabiStat leaf litter.

Directions for use: Spot clean daily. Replace every 6-12 months.
