Made from exfoliated volcanic rock, HabiStat Vermiculite can be used as a substrate for egg laying or as a natural incubation medium.

An excellent retainer of high levels of moisture, Vermiculite's composition ensures that it will not decompose or go mouldy. Small spiders and invertebrates that require high humidity will thrive using this substrate.

Directions for Use:
Moisten to desired level to use as a substrate for invertebrates or mix with HabiStat coir to add texture for burrowing species. For use as egg incubation add water to desired level to maintain humidity for your eggs.
