HabiStat’s history of innovation and sleek design come together in the highly anticipated launch of their new thermostats.
TDesigned with all keepers in mind these new thermostats can control up to 50°C straight out of the box and come with a crystal-clear LCD read out that allows keepers precise temperature control in increments of 0.1°C. In addition to these new features is a quality-of-life enhancement for keepers in the form of a detachable probe. Moving the unit or relocating the enclosure and its accompanying devices is easier than ever with no need to disrupt established enclosures, or risk stressing your animal with unnecessary movement. These are not the only improvements, there is an additional safety feature to the signature quick blow fuse in a new built-in over and under temperature alarm. This goes a long way to offering keepers even more peace of mind than ever before by protecting their animals against unexpected dips and spikes.
Dimming thermostat
The Classic Pro Dimming thermostat is the choice for keepers who use lamps to warm their enclosures. Designed to keep a continuous flow of power for an even and consistent temperature makes it perfect for use with any leading brand of heat lamps including Arcadia’s deep heat projector.
Pulse proportional thermostat
The Classic Pro Pulse Proportional thermostat is the perfect pairing with ceramic heaters and heat cables. Unlike on or off thermostats this stat delivers rapid pulses of power to the heating device reducing temperature fluctuations within the enclosure.
Mat thermostat
The Classic Pro Mat Stat is a reliable on/off thermostat. Designed for use with heat mats and other low powered heat sources. It maintains enclosure temperatures by switching the heater on to full power until the target temperature is reached, then it switches off until heat is required again. An important point to note to consumers is that the Classic Pro Mat Thermostat is not suitable for use with light-emitting heat sources. The on/off functionality would cause visual flickering and shorten the lifespan of both the lamps and the thermostat itself. For those setups it is recommend to use the HabiStat Classic Pro Dimming Thermostat.
