The rising cost of living is a hot topic today. Increasing energy prices, fuel costs and inflation are making us all question how much it costs to run our homes.

Part 1 of our investigation looked at the four most commonly kept species.

Energy prices vary but we have used the industry average rate for electricity (October 2022), measuring the kilowatt output and cost over a two-week period for Part 1 and 10 days for Part 2.
